Prophecy: When a Trumpet Sounds
c. 1998 Silvana Lupetti

The Holy Spirit showed that the church does not have faith in Him. Jesus Himself prophetically looked forward to this day and questioned, "Will I find faith on the earth when I return?" The Holy Spirit is revealing the fallen state of the church. He calls them to repent. If they will not repent, they will drink of the judgment that He has already began to pour out on those who have rejected Him.

I saw Jesus poised with an enormous bowl. In it are all the disobedient, unrighteous acts of the church. It has been in place for a long time and has become filled with the judgments that are revealed in the prophecy of Amos. Jesus is preparing to pour out this bowl of judgment on the church. It is their own deeds to be turned against them.

Jesus says that He has kept the enemy back from the church and that there is now only a thin line keeping him back. Soon the enemy will be allowed to persecute the church more freely. There will be more violence against Christians. This country, (the United States of America) will experience persecution as never before in its history. The government will not be restrained any longer. As a consequence, there will be increasing taxes on churches, with increasing government encroachment and control. People who hate Christians will attack them, persecute them, and do violence against them. The living God will allow the church to be shaken from its worldly foundation. He will not listen to their cries to stop the judgment that is pouring out on them.

"This is what the Lord says, 'Stand at the crossroads and look; ask for the ancient paths, and where the good way is and walk in it, and you will find rest for your souls.' But you said, 'We will not walk in it.' I appointed watchmen over you and said, 'Listen to the sound of the trumpet!' But you said, 'We will not listen.' Therefore hear, o nations, observe o witnesses, what will happen to them. Hear o earth, I am bringing disaster on this people, the fruit of their schemes, because they have not listened to my words, and have rejected my laws." Jeremiah 6:16-19

"When a trumpet sounds in a city, do not the people tremble? When disaster comes to a city, HAS NOT THE LORD CAUSED IT? Surely the Sovereign Lord does nothing without revealing His plan to His servants the prophets." Amos 3: 6,7
