For the last few years, Yahweh has been talking about the Age of the Individual. He said that the Age of the Church was passing and that another age was beginning. When he told me that the Age of the Church was passing, I was a little stunned. I had assumed that it was permanent, and at least would last until Jesus returned. Of course, I waited on him until I fully understood and over time the Holy Spirit made clear what Yahweh was showing.
The Holy Spirit said that there was the Age of the Jews, or the Age of Israel. That is true. Yahweh was with them from the calling of Abraham until Jesus was born. Israel had ups and downs, depending on how close they were to Yahweh and how much they obeyed his laws and did his will, but he was faithful to them and his attention was on them. They were the apple of his eye. He did many miracles and wonders among them and he established Jerusalem as their capital. The Holy Spirit said that Israel remains as the apple of his eye. He loves them deeply but when Jesus died the Age of the Jews was fulfilled. Jesus came and did exactly what he was born to do: he became the Passover lamb that was sacrificed for sin. That is why Jesus said, "It is finished" when he was on the cross. He paid the price for sin and it was finished. Forgiveness for sin was now available in his name. He sent an apostle to bring the message of the new age. The new age was the age of grace, as preached by the Apostle Paul. This was the beginning of the Age of the Church. The Church Age lasted for approximately 2000 years. In this time, churches and nations were built upon the gospel of Jesus. The Catholic Church was established, and from it came the Protestant Church and then later the Mormon Church. Protestants don't give much credit to the Catholic Church, and none to the Mormons. However, without the Catholic Church, all the Protestant Churches would not have come into being. The Catholic Church is in the foundation of the Church universal (which is what catholic means), just as Israel is in our foundation preceding that. The Church was built on the foundation of Jesus Christ, and built up by apostles, prophets evangelists, pastors, and teachers over the years. Yahweh has heard the prayers of the Church and moved among them with miracles and wonders, just as he moved among Israel. Each particular Church in the present day has a degree of loyalty towards God and tries to follow his ways, just as the Jews are loyal to him and try to keep the laws that he gave to Moses so many years ago. There is only one God, and Yahweh is that God, and he is the God of all. But now, the Church is not particularly faithful to Yahweh. Neither are the Jews. They both try to keep the laws that they believe in (Old Testament versus New Testament) but neither seeks Yahweh about what is happening today. They think they know what his will is and they stay within the confines of what they believe. The vast majority have no idea about the new Age that has arrived. No, it is not "the new age" so feared by the Church. It is the Age of the Individual. It is based on the gospel as articulated in John 3:16: For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in him shall have everlasting life. Jesus is returning to the world. He is not returning only to believers, because by the time it is all said and done, everyone will be believers. When Jesus returns as he promised, no one will be able to think that he is not God. The evidence will be too overwhelming. The Jews will know that he has been faithful, the Church will know that he has been faithful, and each person will know that he expects a personal relationship with each of them. There will be rejoicing and there will be bitterness. He will, after all, rule with a rod of iron, which means that he will have standards and demand that they are followed. Thou shalt not kill will be enforced, for instance. Jesus told me one time that when he returned he would start a "War on Murder" (like the War on Terror) and killers and their families will be held accountable until the whole world understands and agrees that murder is indeed something that no one shalt do, including gangs. I look forward to that day. However, with all the examples he has given, and all the times that he talked about the Age of the Individual, I never realized how literal it would be. In preparation for the Age of the Individual (which has already started) he is driving us apart, into individual status. The coronavirus, the first pestilence from him, is pushing the whole world to stand as individuals. Nations all over the world are telling people to stay home with their families. We are learning to stand six feet apart, to be self-reliant, to do what we can in order to care for our families and our communities. We have been pushed into social distancing, where online contact is the safest contact. This is perfect preparation for Jesus to be on earth. People all over the world will follow his every move via the internet. I am astounded to see his word being carried out in totally unforeseen ways. Yahweh is brilliant. Never forget that. Stand for good in the days ahead. The world will want their own rebellious global unity, which will lead to nothing but trouble. Eventually, however, under Jesus we will have a united world, made up of individual people and individual nations. The seeds for that have already been planted and are starting to sprout. Did I mention that Yahweh is brilliant?
